The National Medal of Honor Museum Grand Opening

After working for 19 years in museums between Ft. Worth and Dallas, I landed my dream job at The National Medal of Honor Museum in March 2023, one year after the groundbreaking. Being a part of the journey to bring the building to life was an extraordinary experience... right here in Arlington, my hometown of 30 years! The spectacular Grand Opening was just the beginning of our mission to inspire America and being there with my family was an incredible moment.

We All Have Heroes

I have so many wonderful memories, stories and experiences living in Arlington since the mid 90s. But this one touched our hearts and reminded us of what a great city we live in.The Arlington Heroes Parade, which honored veterans/military, first responders was so well attended and long overdue. My husband, CW5 David Baker, was asked if he would participate in the parade, but had no idea he would be riding on an armored car. 4th of July Parade

Growing up as a kid in the 1980s one of my favorite memories is going out for the fourth of July parade. Waving a little American flag and grabbing candy that some floats would throw out.
