What a Dream Can Do

Growing up in Arlington, I have seen a lot of growth happen in such a short period of time. When I first got my learners permit to drive, Abrams and Cooper was my boundary. If I had reached that, I had gone too far. In 2006, this was not a place safe enough or exciting enough for me to be. However, fast forward 20 years and with a dream, a strategy, and a whole group of champions, my 2 young children learned how to ride their bikes on the Levitt Pavillion lawn (nearly right at Abrams and Cooper). In just 1 generation we were able to change an entire ecosystem and neighborhood for the better. Always believe in the dream. It's the only way things get done.
